Who's this funny lookin' guy?

About Me
I was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. My dad worked in IT for several companies over the years and my mom was an occupational therapist at a local nursing home. I took after dad's interest in tinkering with devices and learning how things work, and eventually got into cars, which I work on for a living to this day. Mom always put her patients first, and didn't care how much it impeded hospital profits. She would always tell me that if you're going to make money, to do so honestly, because God values honest work no matter how small more than dishonest success no matter how big. That became my model for conducting any kind of business.
My mantra in life is that money is only honestly made if you put foot-pounds of effort into what you're selling. Clean cash is the sweat of my brow, and I use that cash to pay for goods made with the sweat of someone else's. Money is a medium for trade and society is better when it stays that way.
I love God, I love freedom, I love America, and I f***ing HATE the IRS.
So what does this have to do with you? Well, you now know that the guy you're dealing with values integrity, hard work, and honesty when he puts his name on his work, so if you want straightforward business without the crap, I'm your guy.
While in College, the school gave me a choice: take lessons in unrelated arts or don't get a degree. One of those classes was already credited to me, though-- Photography, which I had taken in the Spring of 2021 before failing out of Media Arts Production.
I could tell you about the time I worked as a janitor for a year right after failing MAP to build up another college fund. I could also tell you about the time I worked at a lube shop for another year while I started applying for college classes in Automotive. I could tell you about the two year grind on my second go-round in college, or how a tragic loss of someone close to me inspired me to push through the roughest patch of the program, but the most relevant detail here is what I did as a hobby the whole way through-- Photography. And now I'm turning it into a side hustle.
My arsenal consists of my family's old Canon EOS T3 Rebel 12.2MP CMOS DSLR Camera, the 18-55mm lens it came with, a 75-250mm lens we got as a bonus, a Telephoto Lens I bought off of amazon, two lens hoods I got for dirt cheap, an auxiliary shutter switch for long-exposure shots, a not-so-fancy-but-damn-if-it-ain't-useful tripod that I haven't used in a while, and a backdrop stand I found at Bintime for 7 bucks.
A lot of people ask me why I still use a camera that's 15 years old. My answer: because it never once broke in the fifteen years my family had it, and when it does break, I'll just fix it. Life's too short to chase novelty.
